A (homepage). A figuring. A placeholder-in-progress. An (open parenthesis in the making of research. Active, ongoing, unfinished, non-linear unfolding. A collection of inklings, writing, practice, impulses, observations, conversations. Entanglement. A working, emerging <anarchive>, in the way that an archive of work becomes <not a simple repository of the past> ‘but a springboard for the now and the future (Foster, 2024). It is not a thing but a process (Springgay et al. 2020)‘…. that which is ‘opening up dynamic possibilities that push archival impulses in new and urgent directions’ (Springgay, Truman, and McLean 2020, p. 205).

This website serves as a platform for building a portfolio of writing and creative output. It is also a branch of practice: how to become my own researcher: ethics, rigour, transparency, effective design and communication. It is also means of expanding a qualitative, multi-modal approach to communicating time in a literary text.

Blog posts serve as diary entries and placeholders for thinking. The format for these entries will usually (but not always) include two or more of the following:
+ Excerpts from primary notes, recorded in an Obsidian vault (observations, sensations, happenings, recorded on the day)
+ Critical reflections (written post-date)
+ Visuals: photographs, drawings or moving image
+ Sound: musical composition, field records, aural textures
