Notes:

I took myself on a long walk around the lake today to capture the light. The weather has been mostly grey this month, with spots of clear air and some snows and we are now a day post Storm Eowyn. I think village has done rather well in the storm with not many branches down, though there are a fair few broken trees in the woods across from The Daffodil. The atmosphere was crips and airy and there is still some snow in places. I passed many people on the paths around Grasmere and also topped for a quick coffee at Tweedies where I made plans to meet with a local to talk about his life as a stonewaller.
